"Keep pettin' me like that, little human, an' I'll get ya, crash bang whallop!" the squirrel threatened. Turning to Izzy, he said. "Ya not really under 'rest. 'Slong as ye let my fellow trav'lers sleep 'ere." The squirrel raised a furry red eyebrow, as if challenging them to refuse. Ooc; I love Chester's voice. -pets Chester- Chester: Get'te off or's I'll be forced to assult thee! Heehee.

"Can I hug you if I let your friends stay?" Jeannie asked. "I think that's up to Shade, wherever he went." Izzy said quietly.

"I dont like these Rodents. Lets eat them," said Bandit idly. He streched out his claws, as if to showcase them. He then stared at the squirrel, as if saying "You are food."
(("...as if to showcase them." Eh? Thats not a phrase often used.))

Chester had opened his mouth to comtemplate Izzy, but hopped about a foot in the air at Bandit's words, which admitted;y, is rather high for a squirrel. Leaping onto Bandit's chest an seizing his shirt {If he's wearing one; if not, skin/fur} and shaking him up and down by it. "Squirrels? Fodder? Ye disrespectful 'lil varmant! Ye... Ye... I'll tear ye guts from there place in your stomach, laddie! I'll scratch your face 'til you've got'te nought left 'cept face full've slashes! Ye'll pay for this, make me words!" The angry squirrel leapt down. As he pssed Jeannie, he growled: "No 'ee cannot, ye annoyin' 'lil missie!" The squirrel stalked from the cabin, his hurt pride clear on his face. From outside, he yelled: "I'll just findee 'nother place for me friends to rest, methinks, as ye ungrateful 'lil humans fink squirrels... are... fodder,"

"Fluffy, that was a horrible thing to say!" Complained Jeannie, padding outside after the squirrell. "Where are you? Please come back! I won't let him eat you!" She sniffled.

Bandit unruffled his shirt/tunic, and watched the squirrel leave. "I wonder why he got all huffy? I don't eat meat anyways. And "fodder'? I simply called him a Rodent. How is being a Priest bad?"

Chester, ho had been lurking around the bavk of the houe, hid so that the girl would not be able to find him. The red squirrel heard Bandit's baffled complaint throught the square cut hole in the wooden wall that served as a window, and replied: "Ye said 'let's eat 'im!" Realising he had blown his cover, Chester cursed quietly.

Jeannie trotted over to Chester and crouched down next to him. "Don't go!" She whimpered, "I want to meet your friends!" She gave him big sad puppy eyes.

Bandit looked at Chester. "Did you not hear me? I'm a vegetarian. I wouldn't eat you."

Chester considered this for a moment. "OK, we'll stay, but don' fink that'll make me like's yah!" he replied after a while. He leapt back inside, then hollored: "Jei? Regan? Rupiiiii?" A tall, pretty albino woman with white hair and silver-blue eyes and a metallic blue bandanna over her haur, which was tied up in hasty ponytail. She was carrying a small child of around one years old in her arms, which was babbling contentedly. A girl and boy of around three and five followed, both with flamboyant pink hair and silver eyes. "We're here!" cried the girl. "Sqwuiwwel!" yelled the boy, running over to Chester nd hugging him tightly. The squirrel sighed noisily, while Jei, the albino woman cried: "Flamenco!"

There was a bump, a muffled "ow." and Rupi followed after Jei, rubbing his head. "Ooh! Strange people! This days just getting weirder and weirderer!" Jeannie exclaimed.

Bandit sighed. "It wont be long and we'll have to find someplace bigger," he said.

Chester nodded stiffly. Flamenco released him and ran over to Rupi, seizing his hand. It seemed the little boy had taken a liking to him. Rosa ran over to the window and saw Bandit. "What are you? Why are you fluffy?" she asked, nose wrinkled. "Show some respect, Rosa," Jei scolded, pulling the baby higher onto her hip. To Bandit, she said: "Apolegies, sire, my children have no manners. I am Mrs Jei Jaraki. Pleased to meet you."

(Jeannie is...um...er...10 I think. ) Rupi ruffled Flamenco's hair. "Hey wait a second...." He paused, then realised why it was too quiet. He turned back to the trees. "Regan? Ava? I got here before you even though I bumped into that tree! What's taking you so long?!?"

Chester smiled, then roared: "Ava? Regan? Get 'ere now ye stragglers!" The squirrel looked pleased with himself, while Timbe and Flamenco began to cry and Rosa jumped and yelled at the squirrel angrily.

"Oh yeah," sniffed Flamenco, snuggling into Rupi's chest. "I'm Super-Man and your Batman, I 'member nows." The little boy gave a small, contented sigh then fell asleep. Chester sighed angrily, marching up and down. "If'n those stragglers don' get 'ere soon I'll just 'aff to go without 'em!" he grumbled.

Rupi looked rather unsure what to do with the sleeping Flamenco, but soon decided he shouldn't put him down in case he woke up.

Bandit looked around the cramped room, and decided that this was what a true home should look like. Little ones sleeping, a fire in the fire place, a mother. All that they lacked was a father, and as soon Shade came back, Bandit was shure that he would win that honor. With that thought in mind, Bandit took off his tunic (keeping his leggings on) and went to the corner. He lay down and wrapped his wing around his body.
((Yays, big post!!!))
